Clyde (R-GA) – Amendment No. 1 - Requires the Attorney General, the Comptroller General, and a nongovernmental organization to each conduct a study, within 180 days of enactment, to determine how and to what extent the provisions of this Act will reduce rates of violent crime and gun violence

Torres, Ritchie (D-NY) – Amendment No. 8 - Revises the purpose of the Act to explicitly prohibit gun purchases for certain individuals who do not pass background checks
