Republican MTR - This Motion to Recommit adds an important provision from Title VII of the Civil Rights Act that protects religious organizations from being forced to make employment decisions that conflict with their faith. Without this provision, H.R. 2694 is at odds with existing law and would leave religious organizations in legal limbo.
