Joe Courtney / Education and Labor Committee) Republican MTR - Today’s Motion to Recommit expresses the sense of Congress that the current House majority has failed to deliver results for the American people on critical issues facing our nation by prioritizing impeachment of the President over working with the administration and Republicans in Congress to enact policies such as the following: (1) An Act implementing the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement, (2) The National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2020, (3) The Department of Defense Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2020, (4) Legislation to secure operational control of the southern border, and (5) Bipartisan legislation to lower prescription drug prices
