Republican P.Q. - If the Previous Question is defeated, Republicans will strike section 2 of the rule, which provides for consideration of H. Res. 271, the Democrats’ Health Care stunt, and instead provide for consideration of H. Res. 280. The resolution, introduced by Ranking Members Walden and Brady, would require Congress and the Administration to work together to protect Americans with pre-existing conditions, lower premiums, reduce drug prices, and strengthen Medicare and employer provided coverage.
