Boehner (R-OH): Amendment #1  Eliminates Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grants for doctoral dissertation research on housing and urban development issues by prohibiting funding for the program. The amendment would reduce the overall level of funding in the bill by $300,000 to correspond with the spending limitation.
