The House convened at Noon in a pro forma session.

The House received a communication from Paul D. Irving, Sergeant at Arms. The Sergeant-at-Arms notified the House that the time previously appointed for the next meeting of the House was going to be 12:00 p.m. on March 14, 2017, for Morning Hour debate. Pursuant to clause 12(c) of rule I, of an imminent impairment of the place of reconvening at that time. The impairment is due to severe weather. Subsequently, the Chair announced that the rescheduling of the time of meeting for the House at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 had been communicated to the Members.

Pursuant to clause 12(c) of rule I, the House currently stands in recess subject to the call of the Chair.

TUESDAY MARCH 14, 2017
Votes are no longer expected in the House on Tuesday. The House will reconvene to debate suspensions during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, March 15. First votes for the week are now expected at 6:30 PM on Wednesday. Last votes of the week are still expected no later than 3:00 PM on Friday.
